This whole week is filled with action-packed events that everyone is sure to enjoy!

Feb 11: Service Sunday
Encourage chapters to complete community service projects and fulfill one of the tenets of FBLA’s mission. We will also share the total amount of money raised as part of the fundraising competition that took place before FBLA Week
Feb 12: Mentor Monday
Celebrate the importance of mentors who enrich the experiences of FBLA members. Programs or events that your chapter hosts on this day should highlight the role of mentors in a student’s FBLA experience. FBLA will host a career panel webinar at 7:30 PM ET about the important role mentors play as students enter the workforce.
Feb 13: Tuesday Talks
Connect with current National Officers, past officers, and other FBLA members through fun and unique programming, including a Battle of the Regions game night and Collegiate Conversations. Members will have the chance to network with other FBLA members in their region and the National Officers and then compete in a Battle of the Regions game night at 7:00 PM ET
Feb 14: Why Wednesday
Preview the rest of the program year, including the National Leadership Conference (NLC) in June in Orlando and other National Officer programs through the National Presidents’ Forum. Encourage members to share “why” they are involved in FBLA on social media using the hashtag #FBLAWeek. Members can join the National Presidents’ Forum at 7:00 PM ET to learn more about how to enhance their involvement within the organization and get a sneak peek at the 2024 NLC.
Feb 15: Thankful Thursday
Thank local chapter advisers and state leaders by sharing videos and/ or photos on social media. Members will thank advisers and state leaders for their commitment to the organization by posting stories, photos, and/or videos to their Instagram accounts using the hashtag #FBLAWeek. They will also be encouraged to submit a thank you graphic with a photo with their adviser/ chapter leader on this form by February 1. Their responses may be featured on the National social media accounts.
Feb 16: Future Friday
Prepare FBLA members for their future by encouraging them to dress in professional attire, connect with industry professionals, research possible careers, and complete informational interviews.
Feb 17: Success Saturday
End FBLA Week with a celebration of your chapter’s accomplishments by tagging @fbla_national on Instagram and using the hashtag #FBLAWeek.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start a BAA award?
Paid members can start an award simply by registering for the award in the Learning Center (Found on the FBLA's national website). If you are uncertain how to register for an award, watch the orientation video on the home screen of the Learning Center.

How do I register for FBLA?
This club is one of the biggest ones at our school! In order to join, the first thing that you should do is go to the Membership page on this website, and sign up using the oogle form. Next, make sure to join the Google Classroom, so that you can receive all information and notifications from the council. Last but not least, remember to pay your dues!

How many FBLA compeitive events are there?
There are over 70+ FBLA competitive events for you to choose from! They range anywhere from STEM-related events, all the way to debate and public speaking related events!

Are seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshman competing in the same events?
This depends! Certain events, called "introduction to [topic name]" are exclusively for Freshman & Sophomores! Other events that don't start with this phrase are for all grades to participate in.

Can I participate in the same event as I did last year?
Important Change (2022-23 School Year): Members may compete in an event at NLC more than once if they have not previously placed in the top ten of that event at NLC. If a member places in the top ten of an event at NLC, they are no longer eligible to compete in that event. This eliminates the exceptions for team events that were previously in place, as this change will now affect all events.

Who moves onto states, and then nationals?
The top 8 in the region advance to the state contest, and the top 4 in the state advance to the national competition in each respective competition.
